Understanding Classification Results
Human vs Bot
The human field indicates whether the IP is likely associated with a human user (true) or automated bot traffic (false).
- true: Likely residential, mobile, or office IP
- false: Known hosting provider, datacenter, VPN, proxy, or bot network
Certainty Score
The certainty field (0-100) indicates our confidence in the classification.
- 75-100: High confidence - strong signal
- 50-74: Medium confidence - good signal
- 25-49: Low confidence - weak signal
- 0-24: Very low confidence - minimal signal
Private IP Addresses
Private IPs (RFC 1918 + RFC 6598) always return human: true, certainty: 0 as they cannot be classified without local network context.

Using the Results
How you act on classification results depends on your risk tolerance and use case.
- Block: Bot + high certainty (75-100)
